Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generally, monitors, oversight and evaluate airworthiness and maintenance management practices internally and in contracted maintenance providers, to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance with GACARs and the flyadeal GMM.
  • Monitors, oversight and evaluate all maintenance activities quality of contracted services, remote Line/ base Maintenance.
  • Carries out inspection and evaluation to determine the eligibility and the proficiency of external maintenance providers in according with flyadeal standards as laid out in GMM.
  • Compiles Quality Summaries and coordinates inputs for submission.
  • Ensures guidance and instruction is provided to all employees concerning technical inspection and airworthiness matters and the related maintenance documentation, and hazardous materials.
  • Ensures that assigned personnel have access to and use proper technical data during all phases of their duties related to inspection and airworthiness matters
  • Oversees and administers/coordination of proposed changes and revisions to local publications, including policies, procedures, task cards checklists, and work instructions related to inspection and airworthiness matters.
  • Influence company culture through action, presence, and integrity.
  • Share the responsibility of operational control for RII Program, Quality Control Inspection, Receiving Inspection, and Inspection Program.
  • Participate in initiating and approving changes to all associated processes. These efforts will be coordinated with the Chief Inspector.
  • Participate in laying out the details of inspection standards, methods, and procedures in accordance with GACA regulations.
  • Ensure that all inspections are performed on all completed work before it is released to service, and that the inspection records, reports, and forms used by maintenance providers are properly executed.
  • Oversee/Monitor the process and procedures of all incoming material, including new parts, supplies of maintenance providers.
  • Ensure that Service Provider Personnel are properly trained, qualified and authorized for the accomplishment of Required Inspection Item (RII) procedures as described in Chapter 6-29 of this manual.
  • Oversee/Monitor the process of determining the serviceability of SVA aircraft/ engine/part/component, at any level of inspections/tests, including "return to service."
  • Assure the overall quality of the maintenance log/recording requirements process.
  • Review, Revise all new established and/or revised policies and procedure related to inspection.
  • Participate in analyses the effectiveness of the inspection program and the appropriate compliance with standards.
  • Ensure that all inspection tools and measuring equipment used by inspection personnel are calibrated and the records system properly maintained.
  • Assist in reviews, evaluates, modifies and approve RII list based on CASS inputs.
  • Ensures SVA aircraft/components are maintained by trained and qualified technicians/Inspectors with current manuals.


Requirements

  • F.A.A/GACA Airframe and Powerplant License required
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as LM technician Or 3 years as QC inspector
  • Maintaining aircraft in the same category and class as flyadeal.
  • Experience in low-cost airlines highly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of aircraft technical documentation.
  • Legal and regulatory airworthiness awareness
  • Working knowledge of AMOS customer processes, product and services
  • Capable to handle pressure and stress from operations
  • Ability to take direction from superiors and act as a team player
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and exercise good judgment and decision making where necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
  • Good analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinker in relation to problem solving.
